Over the long & winding course of this ol' pandemic, I read a book on game design that challenged the reader to come up with a board game version of a not particularly action-packed movie. I got it in my head to turn the 1999 classic Being John Malkovich into some sort of game.

Slowly and sloppily, I tried to mesh the concepts in BJM with some classic board game mechanics until I had a completive race to inhabit and take control of John Malkovich. Then I recruited my dear friend Stephen to do the hard work of visualizing the mess of rules I'd created.

For better or worse, we're done with it now and are releasing it into the wild. 

Is it good & fun? That's for history and mean Internet people to decide.

But if you do take the time to give it a spin with your friends, I cannot thank you enough for giving it a try and I hope you got 30 to 60 minutes of enjoyment out of it.

And if you're Charlie Kaufman or Spike Jonze ... uhhhh... sorry I did this to your movie?
